The Face Behind the Food
Hi, I’m Aditya Verma. To be honest, I never thought I’d be running a food blog, but here we are! I live in Delhi, a city where you don't just eat food, you live it. By day, I’m your typical corporate professional, juggling emails and meetings. But the moment I’m off the clock, you’ll find me in the kitchen, experimenting with spices and trying to recreate the magic I find in the streets of India.
Why Ziska Food?
I started Ziska Food because I realized something important: most "authentic" recipes online look intimidating, especially for someone like me who has a 9-to-5 job.
I know what it’s like to come home exhausted and still crave a meal that tastes like home. That’s why my mission is to take those rich, complex Indian flavors and simplify them for everyone, whether you're a busy professional in London or a student in New York. I want to show you that you don't need to be a professional chef to cook a soul-warming meal.
No "Fake" Kitchen Magic
I’m a big believer in being honest. Since I’m cooking after work or on my weekends, I don’t have time for complicated "photo-only" recipes that don't actually work. If a dish takes effort, I’ll tell you. If I find a clever shortcut that saves time without sacrificing taste, you’ll be the first to know. Every recipe on this site is something I’ve actually cooked, eaten, and probably messed up a few times before getting it right!
Let's Keep It Simple
When I’m not at my desk or by the stove, I’m usually wandering through the lanes of Old Delhi, hunting for the perfect plate of Chole Bhature.
Food is about sharing, and I’m so glad you’re here to share this journey with me. Let’s stop worrying about "perfect" and just enjoy the process of making something delicious.
Thanks for being here. Now, let’s get cooking!
